THE PATRICK COUTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PEACH FESTIVAL 'KICKOFF PARTY'
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to the Peach Festival Kickoff Party, Friday July 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at 103B Stonewall Court in Stuart. Come out and celebrate while we gear up for the biggest event of the summer as Walmart presents the 27th annual Virginia State Peach Festival. For the 2014 edition of the Virginia State Peach Festival, the Chamber of Commerce expects a large crowd so the event has been moved to Wayside Park in order to accommodate everyone. Sponsors for this event including title sponsor Walmart, have joined with River Community Bank, Carter Bank & Trust, Kim Adkins for Senate, BB&T, Brian Jessup & Associates, Farm Bureau Insurance, Mountain Valley Hospice, Primland, SunTrust, Stanburn Winery, Stuart Communications, Surrey Bank & Trust, B99.9, Cooking with Paul, WHEO Radio and the Chamber in order to make this event free to the public once again. Festival goers will still enjoy everything they have come to love about the Peach Festival including barbecue, crafts, vendors, and loads and loads of homegrown peaches, in a more relaxed larger venue; and it will continue to be free thanks to the relationship between the Chamber and the Festival Sponsors.

The business hours at this time are: Wednesday through Friday from 9:00am till 4:00pm. Stop by and have yourself a cup of java and a sweet taste of the delights that are served from her 'on location' kitchen. Orders are taken for special items and baked goods you may call: 276-299-6466 to place them. If she does not answer it is due to 'taking something wonderful out of the oven', so call back! Hope to see you there!
